Keeping Every Bowl Full
Join us once again, Sunday February 1st 2015, for our 4th annual “Stuff the Subaru” on Super Bowl Sunday. It may be cold and snowing but our dedicated volunteers will be waiting to accept your donation. We are in need of dry dog and cat food and moist cat food to keep our program of providing food for owners needing help feeding their pets.
We will be at Lakewood High School 10 am to 1:30pm. Just enter from Franklin Boulevard, drive up to our volunteers who will remove your donation from your car, fill out a donation slip if you wish and you are on your way out the Bunts Road exit and headed to your last minute Super Bowl Party errands and home in plenty of time for the game. It is just that easy!
Can’t make it but still want to help? You can make a monetary donation by clicking HERE.
Hope to see you there!
On Tuesday, October 28th, we will travel to our supplier to purchase dog food with the $1000 grant we were awarded, from ASPCA!!!!!!! In a very generous gesture, our supplier is donating a like amount of cat food. We are so, so grateful for our good fortune. We will be safe for a while, but we can never have enough stockpiled. This year has been a challenge given the rise in the number of families in need. Thank you to the ASPCA and our wonderful supplier.
If you would like to contribute to help us keep helping owners and their pets click HERE.
Once again we will be offering our pet themed key chains for a $10.00 donation and new this year, zipper pulls for $5.00. They make great stocking stuffers. Last year we sold out before the holidays! Get one while they last!
The key chains are available at Lakewood Animal Hospital, 14587 Madison Avenue and Pet’s General Store, 16821 Madison Avenue in Lakewood, and Style Mutt Dog Boutique, 3525 Warren Road in Cleveland. Click on the address for more information.
100% of your donation goes to supplying food to those in need.
On Wednesday we purchased 1,000 lbs of food. Thanks go out to all of you that helped make this happen.
We also received a very generous donation of 2,000lbs of cat food by our supplier! They have been wonderfully generous with us and we appreciate their support. I know they kept our prices low for 3 years but have always donated food when they are able. An amazing company. Thank you!
Once again, with the help of Laurie Sekeres and Ganley Subaru, we will hold our third annual “Stuff the Subaru” food drive on Sunday, February 2nd from 10am until 1:30pm Lakewood High School, 14100 Franklin Boulevard, Lakewood.
The game kicks off at 6:25pm so you have plenty of time to swing by and drop off your tax deductible donation.
Dry dog is most needed at this time, as well as 1 gallon zip-lock bags. Wet food is also appreciated, but not as crucial.
Help us make this our biggest collection ever! Hope to see you there.
We were fortunate to collect $465.00 this year from the generous supporters at Yappy Hour!!!!! Thank you to everyone that came out!!
We’re so excited to be invited to Yappy Hour, Thursday August 22, 5-8pm!!!
My Best Friend’s Bowl will be featured at Yappy Hour out under the tents on the corner of West 110th and Clifton Blvd. They are just over 2 years old and are already giving out over 450 lbs of food weekly to owners in need. Their mission is to help owners in need with pet food to help maintain the pet’s health, keep the pets with their loved ones instead of being surrendered or being set free to fend for themselves. Use the link above to find out more about this needed service.
Our friends at Nature’s Bin will be on hand with awesome food fare from their newly built kitchen facilities in Lakewood Ohio. Pet-Tique is sponsoring the usual beer, wine and water options. Use the link to visit their website.
The tents will be out, so for a $5 donation to My Best friends Bowl you can enjoy a great Cleveland evening outside! We will have raffle baskets as well to help raise money for this great cause.
There will be a Donation Stack which will be a stack of selected foods that are 15% if you buy it to donate it to My Best Friends Bowl.Read More
