The Lakewood Foundation

We are pleased to announce that we have been accepted with the Lakewood Foundation and as such, are now a 501(c)(3)! My Best Friend’s Bowl is excited as we move into a new phase of our pet food bank.

The Lakewood Foundation will serve as our fiscal agent. Any monetary donation made through the Foundation for MBFB is tax deductable as allowed by law and food donations are eligible for the purchase price.

Donations may be made to us through the Foundation with pay pal CLICK HERE or by check by sending to 16024 Madison Avenue, Lakewood OH 44107. Checks should be made out to The Lakewood Foundation with My Best Friend’s Bowl on the memo line. If you would like to make a donation of dry dog or cat food, CLICK HERE for drop off locations.

All of us at My Best Friend’s Bowl are grateful to the Foundation for believing in our mission and our commitment to our city and “keeping every bowl full”.

Make a Donation

We are pleased to announce our alliance with The Lakewood Foundation which brings us the not-for-profit status we have been working towards. For a $10.00 donation we are able to purchase food for 5 dogs at .20 per pound. For a $10.00 donation we are able to purchase cat food for $0.20 per pound providing 3 1/2 pounds to 13 cats. $10.00 will purchase 175 one gallon zip lock bags or 3000 labels for the cat food bags or 1000 labels for the dog food bags. We are able to stretch $10.00 a long way!

Your donation is fully tax deductible and you will receive a donation letter for your records.  Checks can also be mailed in to The Lakewood Foundation, 16024 Madison Avenue, Lakewood Ohio 44107. The Golden Barkery

Please visit The Golden Barkery! This site is a wonderful place to find goodies for your dogs and you too. They donate 10% of their net proceeds to animal rescues and shelters  with a focus on Northeast Ohio organizations. By buying from them you will be helping countless animals in need!
