Keeping Every Bowl Full
My Best Friend’s Bowl is so excited to announce we have received a $1600.00 grant from the ASPCA to purchase food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will be taking a road trip soon. This will purchase 8000lbs of food and feed hundreds of pets in need.
Included in our grant are funds for the Waterloo Alley Cat Project in the Collinwood neighborhood on the east side. We were paired when we both applied for funding and it was recognized that we have a resource that could help them! The group feeds and tends to stray or feral cats, trapping them to have them neutered or spayed and releasing them. We will be picking up 2,000 of cat food to drop to them soon.
Thank you ASPCA, we are very thankful for your generosity and grateful that you recognize all our hard work that helps our community and beyond!Read More

Thanks go out to the many people that attended the Rugby Ohio High SchoolGirls Winter Bowl event. The girls collected food for the benefit of My Best Friend’s Bowl and The Rescue Inn. The girls decided to tie the Winter Bowl to a community service project and we came home with lots of dog and cat food. Take a look at the pictures from Saturday. The girls played in the cold and misty rain all day. Luckily for them the field at Garfield School is astro turf saving them from a mud bath. And thanks to Lee from The Rescue Inn for organizing this drive! Be sure to visit The Rescue Inn’s web page too. http://www.therescueinn.com/Read More
